Pine Hill Nursery & Landscape is a local, independent, family-owned business that has been serving Northwestern Michigan for over 40 years. We offer a full service Nursery and Garden center, Cafe, and Landscape Design Installation and maintenance services. The largest nursery in Northern Michigan, we are known for quality plants and the best selection around. Pine Hill is on the forefront of creating a "greener" Michigan. We grow many of our own plants. We have discontinued carrying many invasive plant species. We help customers find native plant species and choose "water-wise" plants. We carry natural products that improve soil biology and promote natural pest solutions. We connect with our community by offering on-site classes and events that teach people how to grow and cook garden vegetables, infuse more biodiversity into their landscapes, and introduce children to gardening and ecology. Our herbs and vegetables are all grown on site using non-GMO seeds and organic soil. We never use chemical fertilizers on our herbs and veggies. Our cafe gardens supply herbs, veggies, and berries for our Garden Cafe throughout the summer. Our menu changes seasonally to take advantage of our own garden fresh and other local ingredients. The Garden cafe is open for breakfast and lunch daily and for dinner and live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. Due to the seasonal nature of our business, the cafe is open May-October. The nursery is open April-December.
