Mother Farmer is a small-scale, diversified vegetable farm offering fresh, delicious, and nutritious produce in Michigan's rugged and beautiful Upper Peninsula. We offer a wide variety of Certified Naturally Grown vegetables, herbs, and microgreens. Certified Naturally Grown is a grassroots organization that certifies farms that are committed to using no synthetic fertilizers or chemicals, no GMO seeds, and using sustainable farming practices (like no-till!). This certification reassures our customers that the food they purchase from us is not only healthy for them and their families, but the environment as well.

From day one at Mother Farmer, we have sought to work with nature, not against it. We are committed to using regenerative practices, like no-till because we believe that healthy soil makes healthy plants, and that a healthy farm ecosystem makes for a healthier planet. By practicing no-till farming, we are bringing our soil back to life, making our farm and food more sustainable, resilient, and delicious!
