Southwest Michigan receives moist breezes on its sandy soils from its strategic position on the lee side of Lake Michigan. Because of this wonderful accident of nature, the land has become to fruit growing what California’s Sonoma County is to wine.
The farm sits on a country road just outside Bangor, Michigan in Van Buren County, where nearly a third of American-grown blueberries come from.
