Gabriel Hall

Detroit

GABRIEL HALL is your premier live entertainment bar/restaurant coming soon to West Village! Our vintage look and the artistic theme is celebratory of the rich New Orleans/Detroit musical history and connection. When there isn't live music being performed then you will hear a mix between the traditional and modern sound of New Orleans. The musical Gabriel family literally brought New Orleans to Detroit in the 1940's and was an intricate part of Motown. The family has six generations of music archives located at The Old U.S. Mint Museum of New Orleans, Preservation Hall of New Orleans, Detroit Sound Conservancy, and Hogan Jazz Archives at Tulane University, which will now have a dedicated room inside of Gabriel Hall. And our authentic Creole menu of family recipes and signature drinks keeps patrons coming back for more great food and entertainment. The Gabriel Brass Band will also perform once a month at The Hall. If you want to feel, hear, and taste the excitement of New Orleans without traveling hundreds of miles then Gabriel Hall is it!
