Applecore General Store offers Michigan made edibles, gifts, home goods, and accessories that celebrate the art and craft of the Great Lakes State.

Housed in a 120-year-old farmhouse on the M-134 Pure Michigan Byway, the shop opened midsummer 2017, and is the new retail home of Les Cheneaux-made Cedar Shore Soaps, as well as products from at least 20 local and Michigan makers. As always, Cedar Shore Soaps, spa salts, and bug spray are handmade in Les Cheneaux, with all natural, skin-loving ingredients.

Other Applecore offerings include Michigan cherry products, locally roasted coffee-- beans and ground, handmade scarves, leather goods and bags, knit hats and fiber art, original illustrations, art prints, ceramics, natural body care products, up-cycled wool bags, jams, meat and bbq seasonings, mustard, maple products, wood furnishings, stuffed toys, and a limited supply of curated vintage items. We carry nearly 100 products that are actually made in Michigan, and our mission remains to showcase the makers who add so much to our community and economy.
