Tantre Farm has been a certified organic family farm in Chelsea, Michigan since 1993. The owners of Tantre Farm are Richard Andres and Deb Lentz. We own about 115 acres of wetlands, woods, and sandy-loam fields, which produce about 25 acres of vegetables, flowers, herbs, and some fruits such as berries, pears, and melons. We also have several egg laying chickens, a few Berkshire pigs, cats, a dog, and a small herd of Guernsey, Jersey, and Holstein cows. We sell our produce through CSA shares, at various local stores, restaurants, and also at the Ann Arbor and Chelsea Farmers Markets. Richard and Deb, along with their daughter, Ariana, live on-site year round. Seasonal workers or interns join them for various parts of the year, living and working together.
