Rutabagas and turnips should be stored in the refrigerator, preferably in a sealable bag. They can last for several weeks to months.
Seasonality
Rutabagas and turnips are often available through the fall and winter months. Salad turnips, such as the hakurei variety, are available as early as the Spring.
