COOKING WITH RaDISHES
Storage
Radishes should be stored unwashed in the refrigerator. Remove the green tops before storing, as they can draw moisture from the radishes.
Seasonality
Fresh radishes can be found in Michigan as early as April, and as late as October, with storage varieties, such as daikon, available year-round.
Prep Tip
Radish greens are just as delicious as the root! Saute them with your morning eggs for a nutrient and flavor boost.
