Share your recipes with our readers.
Are you a chef, farmer, bartender, specialty goods maker, or home cook? We want your take on local food! From making locally-grown beans even more delicious to using locally roasted coffee in your creme brulee, we want to give it a try. Here’s the skinny on submitting a recipe:
- Our test kitchen team works closely with local food businesses and has a busy schedule. Because of this, we can only accept a limited number of recipes that require photography. If you already have a great photo of your dish, please include it with your submission!
- We give priority to recipes that feature plenty of local ingredients. For inspiration on what’s grown and made in the Midwest, check out our Local Ingredient Guide.
- If your recipe is selected for the blog, we’ll notify you. Please note that we post recipes based on seasonal availability. For example, if you submit a recipe using fresh cherries, it will be considered for publication in July.
Note: Taste the Local Difference reserves the right to edit recipes for clarity or home kitchen use. Please reach out to us with any questions!
