Ypsilanti Farmers Markets
The Ypsilanti Farmers Market is managed by Growing Hope, a nonprofit working to build an equitable, sustainable local food system where food remains a human right, not a privilege. We believe in food sovereignty and community power, and we create programs that help people grow, buy, sell, prepare, and share nourishing food with dignity. Our work is educational, inclusive, and rooted in racial equity.
Ypsilanti Farmers Market – 2026 Season
Saturdays: May 16–October 31 | 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Tuesdays: June 2–August 25 | 3–7 p.m.
Location: 16 S Washington St
Our markets are community hubs that expand access to fresh, healthy food, uplifting Michigan farmers and food makers, and investing in local economic resilience. From our Nourishment Navigator offering free samples, nutrition education, and budget hacks, to multiple food assistance programs, we meet neighbors where they are.
All vendors sell Michigan-grown or -made products, coming from just down the block to about 1.5 hours outside Ypsi. We center small and emerging businesses through free workshops, hands-on support, and the Ypsilanti Farmers MarketPlace, which is home to the Growing Hope Incubator Kitchen, a licensed space for food entrepreneurs and community groups to grow.
