White Barn Gardens

Started in 2003, owned and operated by Bill and Billie Thompson. Time sure flies this year is our 20th year. We currently have two greenhouses that start filling with all kinds of plants starting at the end of March. During the summer months we maintain a self-serve produce stand at the end of our driveway.
We also provide from Michigan growers a selection of perennial plants and shrubs. We grow bedding plants for the local residents to plant in their gardens. We also carry a variety of herbs both annual and bi-annual as well as perennials.

During the early spring till the end of June you can find us working in the greenhouses and in our gardens planting the vegetables and flowers. Once growing we will be filling our produce stand. Billie also makes bouquets each day when the flowers are abundant in the gardens.

We have eggs year around, you can stop by and see the chickens. They love to have their daily fix of salad provided by Bill and the lawn mower. In the winter they enjoy playing cabbage ball while the weather doesn't allow them to go outside.

We are verified in the MAEAP program for farmstead, greenhouse, cropping system and livestock system through the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development and Michigan Conservation Districts.
