Urban Youth Agriculture is a small business that was founded in 2014. Over the last 10 years we've developed multiple school & home gardens throughout the metro Detroit area, provided agriculturally based lessons and activities to multiple schools, youth summer camps and afterschool programs. UYA currently teaches agriculturally based weekly and biweekly lessons and growing techniques to youth across the Detroit metropolitan area through our multiple educational & training programs. The UYA farm was officially acquired from the city in 2021 and is currently still in development stages. It's designed as a production style urban farm, outdoor learning environment and the main campus for our summer programming.
