Tawas Blueberry Farm
Tawas Blueberry Farm is a U-Pick farm and has been in continuous operation for over 70 years!
The farm has four varieties of blueberry bushes: Northlands, Earliblues, Toro’s, and Patriots. The bushes are a mid-height variety which usually ripens in early August. Check website for Opening date and other information. Opening is usually between late July and mid-August, depending on the weather.
You may either bring your own containers or borrow our buckets with plastic liners. In either case, it is best for your blueberries to spread them out as soon as you can so that they can all get air and not be squished by the weight of other berries.
In October of 2019 the Payne Family purchased the farm from the previous owners, the Czaikas, and are excited to continue on the tradition of blueberry picking in Tawas!
