Rock River Farm was established in 2009 with a dream of building a diversified market farm. We grew veggies and raised livestock, utilizing permaculture techniques along the way to build our soil and feed the livestock. These were formative years. We discovered what worked for us and for our parcel of land. We built a farm from a field. Cultivated the land, picked rocks, installed fences, made compost, raised all sorts of livestock, grew veggies and planted fruit trees. Through all this we discovered our love for plants and cut flowers.

Today, we are a 6 acre farm growing cut flowers and veggies managed by Rowan Bunce. Our farm has become one of the largest specialty cut flower farms in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, with four acres of annual and perennial flowers in production. We grow a huge variety of flowers for different markets, which have been featured in Martha Stewart. Our spring time nursery, open May-June hosts heirloom vegetable starts not commonly found in nurseries as well as cut flowers, perennial and herb starts. We are truly crazy about what we do. Maybe a little obsessed. If you're looking for top quality cut flowers, plant starts, or farm to table catering, you're at the right place.
