The Jefferson Chalmers Farmers Market is established to foster economic development and occupational efficiency for resident growers and artisans of the Jefferson-Chalmers community, and all of Detroit, as well as to serve as an agribusiness resource center for community growers for the promotion of healthy eating, sustainable resource cooperation, urban gardening, and business incubation.
