A.J.'s is located in Lachine, Michigan. Just 15 miles west of Alpena on M-32. We work hard to provide quality produce in a friendly atmosphere. We strive to be a family friendly destination and because we are a U-Pick farm our customers get a personal taste of a working farm. U-Pick is a
great way to spend time together as a family and it's fun for kids of all ages! And nothing tastes as sweet as fruit picked by your own hands.
AJ's has been in operation since 1997 when AJ, at the age of 14, had a passion for farming. He started out with 1/4 acre of strawberries and a lot of faith. Since then, the farm has expanded to include, raspberries, pumpkins, squash, a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, an on-farm market, and in 2006, his wife Amy.
We are now carrying "Shipwreck Soda" which is made by Stoney Acres Winery in Alpena! You can try Root Beer, Orange, Raspberry, Cream Soda, Strawberry, Blackberry & Grape. Each flavor features the story of a unique shipwreck from Thunder Bay.Our dried cherries, cranberries and blueberries
make a healthy snack and taste great in salads, muffins, cookies and other baked goods. If you're looking for new recipes, we have several cook books.
AJ's also has local pasture raised beef, pork and lamb for sale in a variety of cuts. Ask about ordering a pig (by the half or whole) or a cow (by the quarter or half) we offer low pricing, plus butchering fees. It's a great way to stock your freezer!
