The large, gorgeous barns and surrounding farm lands at the Grand Traverse Commons were historically used to feed the staff and residents of the Traverse City State Psychiatric Hospital. The SEEDS Educational Farm continues the tradition by showcasing environmentally responsible farm practices and introduces young people to agricultural science, food and farming. The SEEDS Farm at Historic Barns Park is open to the public and exhibits educational signage for passersby. Stop on over!
