Yooper Produce uses all natural processes in growing. We are committed to non GMO, organic and chemical free food for our families.
We started the farm in 2012 with our first gardens, expanded to our first high tunnel in 2014, started the CSA in 2016, planted 2.5 acres of blueberries in 2018, created our 2.5 acre u-pick vegetable plot 2020, and will expand to our second high tunnel and new drip irrigation system for 5 acres in 2021.
The U-Pick garden is open on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm starting after the 4th of July and runs through the end of September (depending on first frost). We also run a produce stand on Saturdays in case you are not able to pick yourself. We accept cash, debit, credit and snap cards at our farm market. We also sell some homemade products from our produce, including zucchini bread, carrot bread, jams, jellies and some pickled specialties.
Yooper Produce runs a selection CSA and delivers fresh produce picked and cleaned within 24 hours of delivery. We produce 80 + varieties of fruits and vegetables. Our delivery areas are Soo Hill, Gladstone, Escanaba, and Bark River. The CSA is open for orders in February. If you miss the CSA deadline you can always visit the farm on Saturdays.
