Groundswell

Groundswell Community Farm has positioned itself as a long standing vegetable farming organization within the Western Michigan Community and is established as one of the first "USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC" farming operations in Michigan since 2006.

Ownership recently changed hands in July 2019 with the new owner hoping to take the farm to new heights by investing into growth both intrinsically and extrinsically and having an eye on the long term focus of sustainability, outreach, community, inclusiveness, and most importantly stability and what that might look like as farmers continue to face difficult times in a tough but rewarding industry as we head deeper into the 21st Century.

The new owner has recently added a 160 acres to the current 7 acre farm increasing Groundswell's growing capacity tremendously. With adequate resources and assistance we should be able to service the masses.

Our wish is that everyone who wants wonderful healthy food and deserves wonderful healthy food products will be able to gain access without the usual impediments of lack of transportation, lack of time, lack on money, and lack of knowledge as to what is and should be of the most importance to them....their overall health and welfare living out the balance of their existence on this planet.
