Chianti at Mission Point Resort

Mackinac Island

One of Mission Point's key brand pillars is using locally sourced, sustainable food sources in our family of restaurants. Our culinary team grows vegetables and herbs right on property in our resort's cocktail garden, where cucumbers, strawberries, mint, basil and more are aboud. These are used in the majority of our signature cocktails and dishes. Mackinac Island's location in the Straits of Mackinac also allows ample opportunities for fresh-caught seafood and a variety of meat and poultry from local farms in Michigan's eastern Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Peninsula. Chianti is best known for its whitefish, which is caught in the deep waters of Lake Superior and delights guests night after night.
