Seeds and Spores Family Farm is located 10 miles outside of Marquette in Chocolay Township. Our main focus is growing 8 acres of diverse vegetables, but we also grow fruit and berries, culinary and medicinal herbs, and shiitake mushrooms. We raise heritage breed hogs and laying hens on pasture, and our Scottish Highland and Red Angus cattle are exclusively grass-fed.

All of our produce and livestock are raised using only natural and authentic farming techniques. We have been building a living, mineralized soil. Chemical fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, GMOs (genetically modified organisms), or growth hormones are never used on our farm.

We grow food for our CSA members, the Marquette Food Co-op, and local restaurants. We also sell our products at the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market from May to December. Access to our online ordering platform is seedsandsporesfarmazon.com. The farm store is open seasonally.
