Detroit, MI — August 25, 2020 Make Food Not Waste is trading its annual event at Eastern Market for a cooking series featuring Detroit chefs, mixologists and bakers who share how to make food go further. Highlighting new (and old) recipes that cross cultures, this six-episode series will show how delicious it can be to waste less. The show emphasizes the rich diversity of the city’s food scene as well as the sense of community around food. In addition, local participating restaurants will be featuring waste-free dishes on their menus and sharing tips with diners about how they too can waste less at home.
A Star-Filled Line-Up
Hosted by Master Chef contestant Amanda Saab, the cooking series showcases Detroit’s talent. Viewers can register to watch the series online by visiting www.makefoodnotwaste.org/events.
