Sign up here to promote your farm and farm products through northwest Michigan’s Taste the Local Difference guide.

The Taste the Local Difference guide lists the many diverse products produced by farms in 10 northwest Michigan counties—from Manistee to Mackinac. The guide promotes your farm and products to families, chefs, retail stores, restaurants, farm markets, food brokers, schools, and food entrepreneurs—anyone who wants to be your customer!

Taste the Local Difference comes in both print and online versions and covers Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford counties. To be included in the spring 2008 print booklet, you must complete the attached Farm Listing Form and we must receive your submission no later than February 29, 2008. To update previously submitted information, please contact us at 231-941-6584, ext 21.

This is an opportunity to more fully describe your
products for the print guide and the online guide’s
search engine, which allows consumers to look for
specific fruits, vegetables, meats, etc.
Examples: Pies, milk, trout, tart cherries, sweet corn,
basil, maple syrup, lamb. Antique apples including
Macoun, Snow, and Spy. U-pick strawberries,
raspberries, and blueberries. Beef patties.

If you list Specialty products, please specify
what local ingredients you use.

+Eligible nursery plants are plants you grow

++Specialty products must include food or fiber
produced in the 10-county Taste the Local Difference
region. Examples include cheese, maple syrup,
