The TLD Guides to Local Food:

As part of our effort to impact the local food economy, TLD publishes Guides to Local Food for both Northern Michigan and Southeastern Michigan.  Our 2017 Guide for Northern Michigan is our best guide yet, it includes all of the counties in in the Upper Peninsula and the northern Lower Peninsula.  We are also very proud of our 2nd Guide to Local Food for Southeast Michigan, which covers 11 counties.

Each guide feature articles on the importance of our local food economy, stories on farms and farmers doing the good work of growing our food, and a center section packed with county-by-county maps and listings to help you find locally grown and produced food.

You can find the new guide in retail stores, convention and visitor's bureaus, chambers of commerce, and farmers markets around the regions. Here's a short list of our partners who carry the guide:
