TLD 2016 Local Food Guide

Taste the local difference

The TLD Guides to Local Food:

As part of our effort to impact the local food economy, TLD publishes our TLD Guide to Local Food in regions across Michigan. We've been doing this since 2004.  This year's guide for Northern Michigan is one of our proudest achievements, it includes all of the counties in Michigan's northern upper & lower peninsulas.  We've also just published our first guide for Southeast Michigan, which covers nine counties.

The guides feature articles on the importance of our local food economy, stories on farms and farmers doing the good work of growing our food, and a center section packed with county-by-county maps and listings to help you find locally grown and produced food.

You can find the new guide in retail stores, convention and visitor's bureaus, chambers of commerce, and farmers markets around the regions. Here's a short list of our partners who carry the guide.
