A hay ride would take the students out to the pasture for a talk on the history of bison in North America. The talk would include the interrelationship of the bison with Native Americans. A description of the current challenges facing the bison industry and what is being done to face those issues. Cider and donuts at the conclusion. Bringing sack lunches would be great. We could discuss a buffalo burger cook-out.
